"The Chateau Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling is a dry, refreshing style of Riesling with beautiful fruit flavors, crisp acidity and an elegant finish. It offers inviting sweet citrus aromas and flavors. This is an incredibly versatile food wine and my favorite with oysters." -Bob Bertheau

Personal Review
The first thing I noticed about this Riesling was its incredibly light body which made it effortlessly drinkable. It opened with bright, zesty aromas like lime and apple. This gave it a fresh and an inviting taste, and it delivered a mouthwatering acidity as well. The initial flavors of peach and pear then unfolded into a more floral profile, where I noticed jasmine emerge. As the wine lingered, subtle mineral undertones of stone and a touch of honeyed sweetness added depth, keeping the finish clean and slightly off-dry. I must emphasize the light-bodied, silky texture. The balance of fruitiness and minerality makes this wine easygoing.
I did not pair this with food.
